Wind Energy RFP #1
This year the OESI will addresses two targets identified in the Wind Energy Roadmap which can be found on our Innovation & Technology Development page. The two Wind Energy target areas are:
- Safe installation, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of offshore wind energy systems
- Reduction of human exposure to hazards during installation, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of offshore wind energy systems
The lead organization for each proposal is required to be a member of the OESI consortium. To join the consortium, review the process on the Membership page and submit an application. Key RFP deadlines:
- April 24, 2023 – Release date for the Wind Energy Request for Proposal
- June 12, 2023 at 11:59 PM CST – Submission deadline for questions
- August 7, 2023 at 11:59 PM CST – Extended Submission deadline for Final Project Proposal and related documents
- October 2023 – Proposal awards announcement
