Workforce Development

The Ocean Energy Safety Institute’s workforce development program identifies training and education needed to fill gaps in the ocean energy field. The program then solicits the design and development of standardized training and education projects through requests for proposals.

The goal is to implement high-quality courses using multiple instruction methods. Those courses will use meaningful, replicable evaluation criteria to assess the knowledge and competency of the current and future workforce.
