Volunteering to be an OESI project proposal reviewer allows the nominee’s valuable expertise to directly influence the OESI innovation and technology development portfolio. The nominee input helps ensure that every dollar of OESI innovation and technology development has the best chance at positively impacting the safety of offshore energy development in the United States. Collective nominee rankings provide the critical feedback across the Academia-Government-Industry landscape necessary to properly select and fund the right safety related innovation and technology development that can save lives and reduce impacts to the environment.
