Project Call – Marine Energy

This year the OESI addresses the two targets identified in the Marine Energy Roadmap which can be found on our Innovation & Technology Development page. The two Marine Energy target areas are:

  • Small-scale marine energy solutions that enhance the safety, security, and sustainability of offshore wind and oil & gas operations
  • Utility-scale marine energy solutions, leveraging experience from wind energy and oil & gas that enhances the safety, security, and sustainability of marine energy operations

The lead organization for each proposal is required to be a member of the OESI consortium. To join the consortium, review the process on the Membership page and submit an application.  Key RFP deadlines:

  • March 27, 2023 – Release date for the Marine Energy Request for Proposal
  • May 8, 2023 at 11:59 PM CST – Submission deadline for questions
  • June 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM CST – Extended Submission deadline for Final Project Proposal and related documents
  • September 2023 – Proposal awards announcement
